NEW YORK. Those are moments of anguish that Lady Gaga is experiencing after learning the news of the kidnapping of two of her three beloved dogs, which took place on the night between Wednesday and Thursday in one of the most famous streets of Los Angeles. They were out walking with the dog-sitter when they were ambushed. The news bounced from one side of the Atlantic to the other and landed in Italy, where the artist recently landed to play the role of Patrizia Reggiani in Ridley Scott’s “Gucci”. It is not clear now what could happen, according to some it is not excluded that the shooting of the film could also be at the expense, with delays and interruptions in the event that the dogs are not released in a short time.
It all happened at ten in the evening on Wednesday, when the trustee to whom Lady Gaga had entrusted the management of the walks of her four-legged friends was attacked in Los Angeles. According to a first reconstruction, two men would have come out of a white Nissan with tinted windows and one of them would have opened fire on Ryan Fischer, historic dog-sitter of the famous dogs. The criminals then got back in the car and escaped with two of the three dogs, Koji and Gustav, in the direction of Hollywood Boulevard. The third, Miss Asia, managed to escape without ending up in the hands of the kidnappers: she was found and returned by the police to one of the artist’s bodyguards. The Robbery-Homicide Division is now dealing with the investigation: a sign that the case is considered to be of high profile by the LAPD. Fischer, hit in the chest by four gunshots, is hospitalized, his condition is unclear: “Fortunately he is recovering,” some American media reported.
Lady Gaga, warned while she was in Italy, offered half a million dollars for the ransom of her two “creatures”. It is not clear whether he has also made sums of money available to those who can offer useful information to find them, or to identify the kidnappers. It is not certain whether Koji and Gustav were the real target of the kidnappers, although French bulldogs are particularly sought after dogs. The sure thing is that the artist is shocked and desperate, and it is not known how she will behave in the next few days, if the beasts do not return.
She had recently landed in Rome to play the character of Patrizia Reggiani in the film “Gucci”, which Ridley Scott assigned to her. A role for which she had returned to her origins by sporting a brunette hair, after years spent under a helmet of platinum blonde hair. The film traces the story of the murder of Maurizio Gucci in 1995, whose principal was the ex-wife, or Reggiani. An episode that shocked Italian and international public opinion and for which the woman was sentenced to 26 years in prison. Gaga has the daunting task of immersing herself in that character. And returns to the set, after playing Ally Maine in the 2018 film, “A Star is Born”. Also on that occasion he abandoned his platinum blonde for the brown, a change that all in all was a good omen, since the film won the Oscar for best song with the song “Shallow”. This time, however, between the star and the coveted statuette the “dog-gang” got in the way, the kidnappers of the four-legged creatures who are putting the Hollywood star’s Roman set in fibrillation. –
