In general, this is one of the most recognizable and popular vehicles, despite the fact that visually it has not changed for a long period of time. If we talk about comfort in the cabin, then in comparison with other modern models, the domestic SUV seriously loses. Nevertheless, it is in demand, which can be explained by its excellent off-road characteristics. At the same time, the price is in one of the most affordable ranges – for the basic version, dealers ask from 829.9 thousand rubles, and the top version costs 1.079 million rubles. There is no choice in engines – an 83-horsepower unit is available. If we talk about competitors, then Renault Duster and Suzuki Jimny are considered to be closest to it.

Whether the Lada Niva Legend 2024 will ever receive a new body is still unknown. The head of AvtoVAZ and the press service have so far remained silent on this matter. The model looks good, but the design still needs updating. The technical specifications and configurations of the SUV have also remained virtually unchanged for many years, except that due to low demand, sales of the five-door version were discontinued. However, there is no information yet regarding the imminent update of the model, although AvtoVAZ has several new products planned for the coming years. If we talk about the current version of the Lada Niva Legend 2024, then it is distinguished by the square outlines of the body. The car is now available exclusively in a three-door version, but five-door variations can be found on the secondary market. In appearance, simple solutions are used, which, nevertheless, give the appearance uniqueness. Ahead, a large radiator grille into which round headlights are integrated catches the eye. The SUV has a high seating position, which confirms its excellent cross-country ability.
The same slightly outdated design style can be seen in the interior, where special emphasis is placed on practicality and versatility. There is no need to talk about luxury in finishing in this case, but it also cannot be called completely cheap. In general, high-quality materials were used for the seats, dashboard and other parts, but at an affordable price range. Despite the compact dimensions of the SUV, it is quite spacious inside. The seats are made comfortable, but have a minimum of functions. The steering wheel is installed simple, although the equipment has everything necessary for comfortable driving.

At dealerships, the SUV is presented in four main variations, for which an additional package of options is provided, which in total gives eight trim levels that differ from each other. There is also a slight difference in cost. On the other hand, compared to its main competitors, the SUV has one of the most affordable price tags. Since sales of the five-door version have officially been discontinued, only modifications of the shortened variation will be considered. On the other hand, an extended version of the SUV can still be found at some dealers, as well as among private offers.

At the moment this is the basic version, which does not offer many options. In general, the SUV cannot be called richly equipped. However, there are:

It’s difficult to call this option a full-fledged package, although it is designed that way. At the same time, most car enthusiasts and experts position this version as a special version. The main difference from previous modifications is primarily decorative. If we talk about the exterior, a dark shade prevails here, which is used for the wheels and body. A similar color scheme was used for the interior trim. Overall, this SUV looks much more interesting. Its volume is 1.7 liters, and performance at maximum settings does not exceed 83 horsepower. The traction torque corresponds to 129 N*m. This engine is paired with an all-wheel drive system and a five-speed manual gearbox. Together, all these elements provide one of the most reliable grips, where you can be confident in your vehicle even in the most severe off-road conditions. As for fuel consumption, it requires at least 9.9 liters for every hundred kilometers. In terms of dimensions, it is a compact car. So, the length corresponds to 3,640 or 3,740 mm, and the width and height are 1,680 and 1,640 mm. The luggage compartment has a volume of 265 liters, which is not much for those who prefer to travel in their own car. But the ground clearance is 200 mm, so most obstacles are not an obstacle for it.

In terms of maintenance, the Lada Niva Legend 2024 is not an expensive car, like most other models in this class. In particular, the standard maintenance procedure will allow you to meet the cost of five thousand rubles, although the final price tag largely depends on the type of work. However, the cost of consumables and other items is in an affordable range. If we talk about gasoline, the SUV’s consumption is decent, but you can use AI-92 or AI-95, although the latter is included in the recommendation. The domestic SUV has a standard package of protection options, which, by the way, did not exist about a year ago. Now most of the systems are being returned to Niva equipment.
