“Lāčplēš beer” is still sold in Moscow; the company has completely stopped exports

At the end of February of this year, “Lāčpleša beer” can be bought in the stores of the “Pyateročka” trade network in Moscow. An eyewitness captured what he saw in the photos he sent to the “Delfi” portal. As the beer production date and batch number are not known, the local producer SIA “Cido grupa” cannot comment on the specific case, but at the same time admits that since September of last year, the export of “Lāčplėša beer” to foreign countries has been completely stopped.

“On February 18 of this year, my fellow student at the University of Moscow took a picture of our beer on the store shelf in one of the stores of the “Pyaterochka” network in Moscow,” eyewitness Vitaliis Katins reports to the “Delfi” portal. “Since the shelf life of beer is not measured in years, it seems that our producer regularly supplies Muscovites,” the reader admits.

As you can see in the photo, the store offers three types of “Lāčplēša beer” brands – “Lāčplēsis Dzintara”, “Lāčplēsis Gaišais”, “Lāčplēsis Kviešu”. The “Delfi” portal also forwarded the photo to the beer producer “Cido grupa” SIA, and also asked to comment on what the eyewitness recorded.
