Lack of sleep? Studies show increased risk of heart disease

The new discovery was made by researchers from the University of Sydney in collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark. UK A study was conducted on more than three lakh middle-aged people in Biobank.

Studies have shown that people who sleep less are more likely to develop heart disease. University of Sydney Professor Emmanuel Stamatakis says chronically short sleep duration is seen to affect heart health in middle-aged and older adults.
