DRK-Blood donation service: Take criticism seriously

Feldmann and his team organize around 2,000 blood donation appointments a year in Saxony-Anhalt alone. Almost 100,000 women and men roll up their sleeves for a good cause. And waiting times cannot always be avoided, Feldmann admits: “Then we can only apologize and assure you that we are working on becoming even more effective and faster.”
The tone and food were complained about
The fact that it sometimes takes longer is not the only point of criticism. The user Sandy complains about the tone: “I came into the donation room and was hissed at like in the military: ‘Stay standing’. Impossible,” she thinks. Kristina, on the other hand, misses an appropriate snack menu. The “refreshment package” is very poor and sad: “You get a very dry small roll and a small apple in a paper bag, and either a few cold sausages or a cold Camembert thrown in.” Appreciation? None.
That shouldn’t happen, says Nico Feldmann: “The snack bar is mainly organized by numerous volunteers and prepared with a lot of love, passion and commitment. If it ever happens that the snack bar doesn’t seem so great, then we’re always happy to receive feedback “, very grateful, because we then talk to our partners,” the DRK employee makes clear. Ultimately, the aim is to offer the most delicious snack possible so that donors feel comfortable and want to come back.
