“The ministers who appointed Vanya Karaganeva as executive director of the DCC must be held accountable,” said former Economy Minister Lachezar Borisov.

The executive director has no right to do that, this was done completely alone, without the knowledge of the board of directors, “he said.
According to him, Karaganeva was appointed illegally in violation of the law on public enterprises. He explained that everyone on the DCC board was also appointed through a competition.
“These people were appointed through competitions, one part – the independents passed through competitions of the agency for public enterprises, another part of an independent commission of the time in the Ministry of Interior, to which neither GERB nor the minister had anything to do.
