It all started with a discussion between friends after a village festival. They liked to sing, eat and get together, but they didn’t have the same song repertoire or the same recipes. No matter, they would meet up every week to taste products, cook, but also sing! They quickly realized that singing couldn’t be improvised and found a young 25-year-old singer from Bigorre to accompany them in this learning. The Band’Acapella was born and the troupe grew and brought together young people from rugby, football, all walks of life and different villages (not to mention the derby…). After some good slices of shared life, the people who crossed their path recognized a genuine friendship and beautiful shared polyphonies. The group began to perform and tour restaurants, third half-times and village festivals. It is for the Lacapelle-Marival festival that Afreecanard suggests to the troupe to hold a bodega one lunchtime under the market hall. The singer friends come together and, thanks to their contacts and professional experiences, offer a bodega with quality products and a farm burger that is a great success with the taste buds! For the third consecutive year, Afreecanard trusts the singing association. It will hold a bodega on Sunday, August 18 under the market hall of the village of Lacapelle-Marival from 11 a.m. where it expects many of you to taste their products and enjoy a beautiful afternoon. For more information, do not hesitate to find them on their social networks (Instagram and TikTok) where they regularly share videos.
