Labor Party held a national campaign at Istora Senayan, Jakarta. General Chair of the Labor Party, Said Iqbal, called on the workers to win the Labor Party in the elections on 14 February.
Said Iqbal said the Labor Party was the party of the small people. He also emphasized that he would increase workers’ wages if the Labor Party passes to Senayan.
“Now there is a class party, a party of small people, namely the workers’ party. You will come to power, brother, once the workers’ party comes to power we will increase wages, by how much? (15 percent), abolish it? (omnibus law). If we have power, it will be good “We are the ones who determine the direction of our welfare,” said Said Iqbal in his speech, Thursday (8/2/2024).
He said the presence of the Labor Party was a way to improve the fate of the little people. He also said that many parties were coming to the workers ahead of the election.
“God has raised up a class of small people. God has raised up people who have always been marginalized. You think establishing a political party is easy? You see, everyone is rich,” said Said Iqbal.
“All those who founded political parties are rich people. In the run-up to the new elections they came to the workers, farmers and other working classes. Where were they five years ago?” he added.
