Labor market reform: the four-day week is possible from this Monday

Fancy a three day weekend? Need a day off in the middle of the work week? With this regulatory change, a worker will have the option to work his weekly working time over four days instead of five. With the same number of working hours, working days will therefore be… longer.

all tworkers can request this right from their employer from 21 November. The employer has the right to disagree but will have to justify his refusal. The four-day-a-week scheme will be granted for a renewable six-month period.
