Labor lifts suspension of ex-leader Jeremy Corbyn

The British Labor Party has lifted the suspension of its former leader Jeremy Corbyn. The politician may again sit on the parliament’s bench on behalf of Labor, the opposition party decided on Tuesday.

Corbyn, 71, was banned in October after calling the results of an independent investigation into anti-Semitic tendencies within the party outrageous. Earlier in the day, he had withdrawn his controversial comments about anti-Semitism.

The investigation was devastating for the way Corbyn had dealt with the many anti-Semitic regurgitation. In the case of complaints, there was political interference, there was no training on how to handle complaints properly and complainers were even intimidated. “Not enough was done to prevent anti-Semitism and it was even accepted at worst.” The committee requires Labor to draw up an action plan against anti-Semitism within six weeks.
