Gannay-sur-Loire. A good balance sheet and dynamism within the Roach. The fishing association L’Ablette held its general meeting, in the presence of many members and Jocelyne Girardet, deputy to the municipality. The municipality supports the association, thanks to a subsidy and the provision of premises. Finally, the creation of the municipal pétanque ground has brought together 48 doublets in 2022, a great success. The belote competition at L’Ablette brought together 60 teams.
In 2022, the trout opening day in the Acolin at La Chapelle-aux-Chasses was a success. “From year to year, there are more and more fishermen. We put 100 kg for this event. The ringed trout giving the right to a free fishing license seems not to have been caught, or the ring was lost”, underlined the president, Jean-Jacques Frizot.
Bernard Gaensli, treasurer, presented the results of the fishing licenses sold in 2022, it amounts to 128, against 132 in 2021. The financial efforts intended for the fish farming are significant on all the lots of the company in the canal and the Cressonne. Between trout, zander, pike, perch, carp and roach, it’s a total of 590 kg for an amount of €4,758. Mickaël Vincent, partner and custodian of fishing licenses, was honored, as well as two volunteers, Jacky Laudet and Jean-Louis Guy.

The sale of fishing licenses is available from the nurseryman Mickaël Vincent and the managers Jean-Jacques Frizot and Bernard Gaensli.
