The singer Edwin Luna, leader of the Mexican group La Trakalosa de Monterrey, reported on his social networks that it is impossible to perform the concert he had scheduled in Juticalpa, Olancho for this Saturday, April 22. “They have retained our audio equipment at the airport since 24 hours ago due to a procedure that the company (organizer of the event) should have done a long time ago”, the singer posted at noon on his social networks, stressing that the group has been in the country since Friday morning. Right there he regretted that no one had been able to attend to his band, not even to transfer them to the hotel and said that they had never gone through something similar. But a few minutes ago he returned to his social networks with a video where he explained more details. “La Trakalosa de Monterrey (to Honduras) landed yesterday to be able to get to the venue, do sound checks and coordinate the entire event as we are used to doing, we found that 12 or 13 hours later the group was still at the airport , it is something that everyone can confirm, they were there waiting for our technical team, and today I was about to board a plane from Mexico to Honduras, but we decided not to do it because the team still had not left the airport, I understand that the process affects the entire commitment and I want to acknowledge that the company that takes us covered all the agreed expenses, but it is impossible to take a plane right now and risk my colleagues taking the road to the place of the show that they tell me is about 6 or 7 hours away”, Luna added calmly. He assured that the producer of the show and he reached an agreement to announce a new date for the concert soon. “We are willing to reschedule this event so that we can meet in future dates and that all of you enjoy because I am well aware that the event was very good and that they were looking forward to us with great anticipation. With all the respect that they deserve as our public, we hope that this event will take place as we expected today, it is impossible to reschedule it immediately because we have pending commitments, but I hope that they understand our situation and hopefully between both parties we will be able to float this event to be able to be with you”, he pointed out. The concert was to be held at the Juan Ramón Vargas Brevé Stadium and was for the benefit of the Santa María de Los Ángeles Children’s Home in that city. On Media Group and Show Business reported on social networks that the concert will take place on September 9, and they made it clear that the event did not take place due to problems beyond their control, and that all tickets continue to be valid for the new date. Tickets have a cost of 3,000 lempiras for Platinum Table, L 1,800 in VIP chair and L 650 for stands and are available at the Uniplaza Mall in Juticalpa and at www.publitickets.com.
