A fire broke out this Monday, March 6, around 11 p.m., in a building in La Souterraine, in the district of Puycharraud. Five personsbothered by the fumes, were transported to theGuéret hospital for observation.
The fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor. The rest of the building was evacuated by firefighters. Forty people had to be relocated by the town hall. Some were welcomed opposite, at the EHPAD, which exceptionally opened its doors at night.
The fire was of accidental origin according to the gendarmes. 27 firefighters were on site. No resident has the right to return home.
The building belongs to the departmental office HLM Creusalis.
