La Selecta wins but suffers against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines –

La Selecta won against the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines team in the first chapter of the national team’s series in the CONCACAF Nations League (LNC).

Although the Cuscatleco team found the advantage from Styven Vásquez in the 20th minute of the match, the team fell apart after this action and this was evidenced by the growth that the Caribbean team had on the field and that it tied the 43′, to end the first half 1-1.

The narrow tie in the first period was broken at 70′, with San Vicente’s second goal. However, with the entry of Bryan Landaverde and Santos Ortiz, La Selecta saw the light.

The second for the Dóniga team was thanks to the pressure that Santos Ortiz came out to do, since the one from the east stole the ball from the San Vicente goalkeeper to score the tie at 70′. And after this action, the team sought victory and, after a long ball, Francis Castillo, a Cádiz player, sent the 3 into the net to give the agonizing victory to Selecta.
