The descent in Pro D2, the ascent in Top 14, the finals lost in the French Championship or in the European Cup and, of course, the two consecutive titles of European champion in 2022 and 2023.
A lap of honor with his teammates and the European Cup for a player who, according to President Vincent Merling, marked the history of the club: “He’s a great character, a great player, but also an exceptional man. He’s not leaving us, he’s going to stay at the club, but we’re going to miss him somewhere, that’s for sure.”

There is still one, or even two matches to play for Romain Sazy and his comrades, the Top 14 semi-final against Lyon or Bordeaux. Stade Toulousain for its part will face either Stade Français or Racing 92. The matches will take place in San Sebastian in Spain on June 9 for Toulouse and June 10 for La Rochelle. In case of victory, it will be a new Top 14 final at the Stade de France … but we are not there yet.
