The edition of the Power Race Cinturón Roblano mountain bike race, which will take place next Saturday, August 21, in the Leonese mountain town, will award the title of champion of the Ultramarathon Spanish Open.
This test will have a distance of 134 kilometers and a positive slope of 2,752 meters along a route through the town of La Robla on a circuit that is scheduled to be covered with a time of just over ten hours. As for the marathon test, it will be shorter, just over 74 kilometers, also with less positive slope that will reach 1,416 meters.
In the list of participants, there are two ex-cyclists with brilliant track records such as Paco Mancebo and Manuel ‘Triki’ Beltrán who will compete for the Ultramarathon Spanish Open, within a wide list of more than 400 runners with other prominent names such as those of Iván Coca, Óscar Pujol or José Márquez.
The Spanish Open of Ultramarathon-MMR Power Race White Belt of La Robla will also have a large roster in the female category, among which Mar Delgado, Arantxa Salvado, Marta Tora and Susana Alonso stand out.
The event to present the tests, held at the León Provincial Council, was attended by the deputy of the area, Susana Folla, along with the mayor of La Robla, Santiago Dorado, the sports councilor, Ángel Fernández, the sports technician of La Robla and Prince of Asturias Award, José Manuel García, and Oscar Martínez, president of the Maragatos Bike Sports Club.
