Work to transform Parc de la Prairie, located in the heart of the Mistral district in Grenoble, has started. They will continue until next June. The project, financed by the Region, Grenoble Alpes Métropole and the City (€1.5 million), involves doubling the surface area of the current park, from 8,000 to 16,000 m2, overflowing in particular on the avenue du Rhin-et-Danube.
In addition to the creation of a circular walkway, it is planned to plant 210 new trees, to develop an orchard, a playground of 200 m2, natural bleachers or even to install 180 m2 of sports equipment.
