La-Philosophie.com and bref
La-Philosophie.com helps final year students in preparing for the baccalaureate, preparatory class students in preparing for their competition, college students in their research, and finally all those curious about the humanities to quench their thirst for knowledge.
The site thus covers the great philosophical traditions, from pre-Socratic to contemporary philosophers, while trying to bring a philosophical reading to the cultural field in general, whether it is cinema, literature, politics or music.
Who are we?
Since 2008, la-philosophie.com has been working to spread the tradition and the great philosophical thoughts. Independent, the site is maintained by a team of former students in the human sciences, now teachers or journalists. The columns of the site are open to external contributions. Julien Josset, founder of the site.
Etymologically, philosophy means love of wisdom. Before being a discipline of study, it is above all a question of a certain way of seeing the world, of questioning it. The founding principle of philosophy is thus undoubtedly astonishment, which provokes and arouses questioning. Then, to philosophize is to argue rationally about one’s astonishment.
