La Paz shines with its own light at Expocruz 2023 and once the doors of the fairgrounds were opened, the ‘City of a Thousand Colors’ pavilion began to be requested by visitors, with the main hosts being the 40 exhibitors who will take part in this multi-sector event.
The La Paz delegation brings with it its own agenda in which entertainment for all ages and a sample of its economic diversification aim to turn the pavilion into a mandatory stop.
The coordinator of the Economic Development Secretariat of the La Paz Mayor’s Office, Carlos Padilla, pointed out that they seek to consolidate new sales and businesses, taking into account that in the last version of Expocruz only with retail trade within the pavilion, Bs 500,000 were moved.

“We are very happy to bring, once again, a piece of La Paz to Santa Cruz. We wanted to bring a mix of industry, entrepreneurship, services and entertainment, something that already characterizes our city,” said the executive.
The La Paz representation, according to the official’s explanation, installed a conglomerate of consolidated and representative companies of the department, which merge with artisans and emerging enterprises.
Among the sectors that stand out are food, textiles, services, manufacturing, among others that are stationed in the 28 stands of this pavilion that brings together 40 exhibitors, according to Padilla.
While outside it will be a space dedicated to the orange economy, with a stage in which fashion shows, concerts, art, dances and activities dedicated to the culture of La Paz will be displayed, which are adorned with paintings and murals that recreate the most representatives of this region.
The scenography reflects the architecture and the most representative buildings of the city, such as Plaza San Francisco, the Cable Car, the bus terminal and other structures that are the city’s heritage.
Padilla noted that the expectations for this fair show are for exhibitors to exceed Bs 600,000 in sales, as well as generate business that contributes to the expansion of companies and new alliances, taking into account the history of Expocruz.
“Last year we had entrepreneurs who came with fear, but later it turned out that new points of sale were obtained even abroad and also contracts for product development,” concluded the executive.
