La Paz City Council Creates Loan Fund for Workers in Economic Emergencies

La Paz, Baja California Sur.- In the XXI Ordinary Session of the Cabildo of the H. XVII City Council of La Paz headed by the Municipal President, Milena Quiroga Romero, Trustee, the Councilors, the creation of the Loan Fund for the benefit of from the workers.

In this regard, the Mayor expressed “we will soon be opening a Loan Fund to be able to support workers who have an economic emergency, providing them with an advance salary, in which the payment of this resource will not be put at risk, which will be granted in advance, to through an agreement it will be settled biweekly”.

He stressed that this City Council is committed to providing support to the workers, it is up to us to comply with the obligations of our administration, in addition we have been paying off past debts such as the ISSSTE issue, the lack of payment of the ISR, in addition to mismanagement of loans that were given and insurance that have not been covered, so we will continue to comply with them.

The creation of the Loan Fund will be legally established in a legal framework, with clear guidelines in order to avoid mismanagement and that it works correctly, for the benefit of municipal workers, concluded Quiroga Romero.
