Nearly 794,000 Séquano-Dionysiens registered on the electoral lists were called to the polls this Sunday, to participate in the legislative elections. There are 12 constituencies in the department. Abstention was particularly high in the department: 61.1%.
Jean-Christophe Lagarde (UDI), the outgoing MP for the 5th constituency (Bobigny, Drancy, Le Bourget), obtained 33.4% of the vote. Elected for 20 years in this sector, he was beaten in the first round by Raquel Garrido (LFI). The candidate invested by the Nupes collects 37.9% of the votes.

In the 12th constituency, the outgoing deputy, Stéphane Testé (Together), qualified for the second round but in second position, with 23.9% of the vote. The Nupes candidate, Jerome Legavre, former federal secretary of Force Ouvrière and national secretary of the Independent Workers’ Party, came first in the first round, with 30.8% of the vote.

Bastien Lachaud, the outgoing LFI deputy for the 6th constituency, gathered 56.6% of the votes, but without crossing the threshold of 25% of registered voters. The Nupes candidate will face the Ensemble candidate Yasmina Baziz (15.1%) in the second round.

In the 1st constituency, the outgoing deputy, Eric Coquerel (Nupes), easily came out on top in the first round, with 53.8% of the vote, but without crossing the threshold of 25% of registered voters either. The candidate Ensemble Jeanne Dromard (18.9%) also qualifies for the second round.

In the 7th constituency, the outgoing deputy of Nupes, Alexis Corbière (LFI), was re-elected in the first round. He obtained a score of 62.9% of the votes.

In the 11th constituency, which brings together the municipalities of Sevran, Tremblay-en-France and Villepinte, outgoing MP Clémentine Autain (LFI), invested by Nupes, comes first with 46.2% of the vote. She will face in the second round the dissident PCF candidate Virginie De Carvalho, who obtained 15.2% of the votes.

In the 4th constituency, two left-wing candidates qualify for the second round. The PCF candidate invested by Nupes, Soumya Bourouha (36.1%), will face the dissident PCF candidate Azzedine Taibi (21.4%) in the second round. Marie-George Buffet, the outgoing MP, did not run.

Five years ago, the left won the majority of seats. The Séquano-Dionysiens had elected:

- 2 PCF deputies
- 1 deputy UDI
- 1 LR deputy
In the first round of the legislative elections in 2017, the abstention rate had reached 60.70% in the department.
