about the work
Night Has Fallen is about a nightly walk that lasts until dawn between mother and daughter through a city of dim lights and cold. During this tour, situations, thoughts and games are presented that deeply question the relationship between the two, motherhood, family relationships. Social and family mandates are put into crisis during this night where the characters say they leave everyday life and go to a special place they call Greenland.
Inspired by texts by the French author Pauline Sales and the Argentine-Mexican playwright Coral Aguirre. This work is a “trip” that lasts all night between chocolates, police and abandoned cars “…A night to go and return from Greenland…” The protagonists of this proposal will say.
