La Nación / Tigo reconfirms its commitment to Fundación Teletón

Under the slogan “Solidarity moves us”, the telecommunications company Tigo joins the Teletón Foundation marathon for the thirteenth consecutive year and invites all its clients to donate through its donation channels.

“At Tigo we promote initiatives with high social impact, which seek to connect people, improve lives and transform realities. For this reason, we are pleased to continue contributing to such an important cause, that is how we reaffirm our commitment to the Teletón Foundation, whom we have accompanied for 13 years, ”said Carlos Blanco, CEO of Tigo Paraguay.

Although the Teletón marathon takes place on December 3 and 4, the channels that Tigo makes available are already enabled so that donations can be made from anywhere in the country. The goal pursued by the foundation is to sustain and expand the services it provides and the campaign invites everyone to unite for the children and adolescents who attend Teletón.

Mariana Flecha, Communications and Corporate Responsibility Manager, explained that the company makes the traditional donation channel via text messages available to people who wish to collaborate with this important national cause. “By sending the word Telethon to 220 at no cost, all our users will be able to donate from G. 5,000 to G. 100,000. The selected amount will be debited from the client’s available balance ”, he mentioned. Those who wish to donate from Tigo Money will have the possibility to do so by entering the web www.teleton.com.py, where you can select the amount to donate and the Tigo Money option.
