The high school students of La Mennais walked the red carpet this Wednesday, May 17. The high school organized the prom as every year. All final and second year CAP students were invited to this evening. The director of the establishment, Véronique Calas and around thirty teachers also took part in the event. Before discovering the decoration of the premises, the students were invited to pose in front of the lens of David Trouvé, general and technological CPE. In total, more than 400 people were present during the evening. The young people then took group photos, according to affinities, by class, and even with the teachers. The ball was entirely organized by the “promotion ball” commission of the high school students’ committee, accompanied by the staff of the establishment, who invested themselves for more than a month to make this moment unforgettable. The evening was punctuated by various highlights. All high school students had to breathe in a breathalyzer before entering the cafeteria, where the ball was held. An essential initiative for the school, in order to ensure the smooth running of the evening and that everyone can enjoy it safely. For this, several students then completed a day of training at the prefecture of Vannes, in order to know how to use the equipment. A stand dedicated to road safety provided breathalyzers and brochures on the subject. Games were regularly offered before opening the ball. For Ambre and Louise, representatives of the high school students’ committee, “the objective was to unite everyone, to take advantage of the moment and to keep good memories of this evening”. The money collected thanks to the paid entrances was used to finance the meal and the organization of the ball.
