La Línea de la Concepción Educational Program Highlights Prisoner Works in Campo de Gibraltar

More than 300 Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Adult Education students from three educational centers in the municipality are participating in the “Work and Path of the Prisoners” program.

This program, which is part of the Municipal Educational Offer, is carried out by the Campo de Gibraltar Memory Forum in collaboration with the municipal Education delegation. The main objective is to promote knowledge of the heritage values ​​of La Línea de la Concepción and Campo de Gibraltar.

This includes guided tours of the most significant works carried out by prisoners in the locality, providing an understanding of the historical, ethnographic and environmental context. In addition, workshops, exhibitions are organized and the documentary “The Longest Night” is screened, all with the intention of publicizing the relationship of these spaces with the citizens who experienced repression.
