La Liga president Javier Tebas gave way to Barcelona in order to increase optimism about the return of Argentine Lionel Messi to his ranks.
“The departure of Sergio Busquets is certainly the first step in the path of returning Lionel Messi to Barcelona,” Tebas said in statements to Radio Cadena Kobe.
But Tebas referred to the Catalan club, “He must take other steps for the sake of these realistic matters.”
Tebas confirmed that he “has not yet given his consent,” pointing out that the first control in this matter remains the general economic situation that the League will monitor.
