Today, Friday, Celta Vigo achieved a difficult victory against hosts Elche, 1-0, in the 16th round of the Spanish football league.
Celta Vigo opened the scoring at the beginning of the first half, with the Spaniard Iago Aspas in the 5th minute, then the first period ended with the visitors leading (1-0).
In the second half the two teams exchange possession and chances, but all attempts fail. Elche completed the meeting with ten players after Pedro Bigas was sent off in the 90th + 1 minute with a red card.
With this victory, Celta Vigo reached the 16th point in 16th place, while this season the negative results of Elche continued, last in the standings with 4 points.
