Toluca, Mex. Federal, state and municipal authorities verified this Sunday the sites where vaccination for people over 60 will start next Tuesday in 18 Mexican municipalities, including the capital, Toluca, 13 demarcations of the southern part of the state, including Tejupilco, Ixtapan de La Sal and Tenancingo; 5 from the volcanoes region, in addition to Chiautla and Xonacatlán.
Starting Tuesday, March 9, and until Thursday, March 11, the elderly in these districts will be vaccinated in open spaces where modules for the application of biological will be placed.
The municipal presidents were in charge, since yesterday Saturday, of communicating to their governed the places where the vaccination will be carried out. They also decided to convene certain communities for Tuesday, others on Wednesday and others on Thursday to avoid crowds.
All the mayors of these municipalities have asked people not to stand in lines or spend the night outside the vaccination sites because they assure that there are doses to immunize all people over 60 years of age.
In Toluca there will be four vaccination sites: The “Nemesio Diez” stadium, better known as La Bombonera, will have three pedestrian accesses along “Constituyentes” avenue. It was reported that access to the parking lot will be through “José María Morelos” avenue.
In the Local Board of Roads, to the north of the capital, all accesses will be through “Equality” street.
For the western area of the capital, it was determined to enable the Toluca Convention and Exhibition Center for vaccination. The entrance to this site will be by boulevard “Miguel Alemán Valdés”.
For those who live in the southern area of Toluca, the headquarters will be in the Conservatory of Music within the Complex of the Centro Cultural Mexiquense. The entrance to this site will be through “Eduardo Monroy Cárdenas” street, next to the Museum of Anthropology and History of the Mexiquense Cultural Center.
The vaccination days will be held from March 9 to 16, from 09:00 to 17:00.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Tejupilco, Anthony Vargas, made use of his social networks to inform that the vaccination starts on Tuesday and the modules for the application of the biological will be the Sports Unit and the Fairgrounds. The mayor explained which communities will have to attend the Sports Unit and which ones will have to attend the Fair Center, as well as the days that correspond to them.
In Valle de Bravo, the venues to vaccinate are the Alameda and the Municipal Auditorium. Mayor Mauricio Osorio will announce which communities will be served in one place and in the other.
In Tenancingo it was decided to place the vaccination modules in the El Salto Sports Unit, while in Malinalco it will be in the Miguel Hidalgo Elementary School and in the Digital Library, both in the municipal seat.
In Sultepec the vaccination will be in the Normal School, while in Ixtapan de la Sal it will be in the Convention Center of the Sports Unit. For Tonatico, the authorities determined what modules will be placed in the main garden, while in Villa Guerrero he will be immunized in the Sports Unit, better known as Las Canchas.
Also on Tuesday, vaccination will start in the municipalities of the volcanoes region. In Amecameca it was determined to enable the Sports Unit as a center to apply the biological, while in Ayapango, Juchitepec, Tepetlixpa, Tlalmanalco, the venues are to be confirmed.
Older adults must present official portal registration https://mivacuna.salud.gob.mx/index.php, plus an official identification; If you do not have this procedure, carry a credential from the INE or INAPAM, in addition to the CURP.
If they carry an official identification in which their address does not appear, show in addition to the CURP a recent residence certificate.
It is important to respect the instructions of the authorities, implement a healthy distance, wear protective equipment such as mouth covers, masks or goggles, have had a correct breakfast, bring water and medications in case of treatment and avoid sharing unofficial information, since through their communication channels, the authorities will constantly publish precise information about the vaccination days.
