Mexico City. Mexico exceeded 132 million doses of anticovid vaccines administered, according to the daily report on the status of the epidemic published this Saturday by the Ministry of Health.
On Friday, 267 thousand 552 doses were applied, for a cumulative of 132 million 97 thousand 392 vaccines injected since December, when the national vaccination strategy began.
With them, 76 million 480 thousand 431 people have been immunized, of which 85 percent have a complete vaccination scheme, while 15 percent have a half scheme.
This means that 85 percent of the country’s adult population has received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to official figures.
The Secretariat reported that in 24 hours, 2,956 new cases of the disease and 245 deaths were confirmed.
Thus, since the beginning of the health crisis, 3 million 882 thousand 792 confirmed cases and 293 thousand 859 deaths have been recorded.
It is estimated that there are 23,408 people who started with symptoms in the last 14 days, which is why they are considered active cases.
Epidemiological week 44 closed with an 11 percent reduction in the number of infections compared to the previous one.
