Mexico City. Tigres took the lead in the Liga Mx Femenil by beating Pumas 4-0 on matchday nine of the 2021 Guardianes tournament.
The Monterrey team reached 22 points, while the UNAM squad remained in fourth place with 19 units.
For those from Nuevo León it was easy to break with the defense of the university girls after María Sánchez leaked through the right side and sent a center for Blanca Solís to finish point-blank after four minutes.
The UNAM team fell into deconcentration and Tigres scored the second goal when Solís hit a corner kick so that Belén Cruz (13) sentenced with a header in front of the goal.
