Mexico City. The Ministry of Health (Ssa) pointed out this afternoon in its daily technical report that two thousand 956 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed, so that in total in Mexico there are three million 924 thousand 638 cases, while deaths rose by 203 , with a total accumulated of 297 thousand 187 deaths due to contagion with SARS-CoV-2.
The trend in the reduction of the speed in the fall of infections is maintained, since it was reported that there is only a decrease of minus one percent in the contagion curve for the period from November 28 to December 4, compared to the week before.
It points out that the estimated active cases, that is, with symptoms in the last 14 days, are 17,964, which represents 0.4 percent of the cases detected to date. The Ssa adds that the occupancy rate remains unchanged, with 15 percent for general beds and 12 percent for beds with a fan.
Regarding the update of the National Vaccination Strategy, the agency reported that this Tuesday almost a million doses were applied, with 932 thousand 13. This adds up to a cumulative of 138 million 851 thousand 637 doses.
To date, 81 million 770 thousand 394 people have been immunized in the country, and of them, 66 million 459 thousand 570, that is, 81 percent, have the complete scheme, while 15.3 million have received at least one dose of SAR-CoV-2 vaccine.
