Seattle. Brock Purdy threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns, and the San Francisco 49ers never trailed in Thursday’s 36-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
Deebo Samuel contributed a reception that netted 76 yards and a touchdown. He finished with three receptions for 102 yards for the 49ers (3-3), defending National Conference champions.
San Francisco caught up with Seattle (3-3) at the top of the NL West Division, after a weak start to the season.
George Kittle caught five passes for 58 yards and two scores for the 49ers, who beat Seattle for the sixth straight time. Kyle Juszczyk added a late touchdown for San Francisco and, like Kittle, celebrated with a jump toward the stands.
They both hugged their wives, who were sitting together in the front row.
Matthew Wright, who joined San Francisco this week as a replacement for injured kicker Jake Moody, made three field goals in the first half, from 25, 41 and 35 yards.
Geno Smith passed for 312 yards and a touchdown, but suffered two interceptions. The Seahawks suffered their third loss in a row after starting the season 3-0 under new coach Mike Macdonald.
