Mexico City. Between Sunday and Monday, 437 deaths from Covid-19 were confirmed, bringing the accumulated record to 186,152, says the report on the behavior of the pandemic in the country.
Cristian Zaragoza, director of Epidemiological Information of the Ministry of Health, commented that as of today one million 639 thousand 943 people have recovered from the disease. The active cases, which correspond to people who started with symptoms of the infection in the past 14 days, are 45,682, which represents 2 percent of the total estimated cases nationwide.
Regarding the advancement of vaccination, José Luis Alomía, director of Epidemiology, commented that 2 million 526 thousand 863 doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 have been applied.
Of the total, 567 thousand 338 health workers already have the complete two-dose scheme, as well as 16 thousand 558 people from the education sector of Campeche.
With regard to older adults, one million 170 thousand 453 have already received the first dose of the biological.
