Currently there are six co-defendants of León Trauwitz imprisoned in the Federal Center for Social Readaptation Number 1, Altiplano, in the municipality of Almoloya de Juárez, among them Brigadier General Socrates Alfredo Herrera Pegueros, Colonel Emilio Cozgaya, Oziel Aldana Portugal and Sergeants Ramón Márquez Ledezma, from the Department of Physical Security in Cadereyta, and José Carlos Sánchez Echavarría, former coordinator of the Submanagement of Strategic Safeguarding of Petróleos Mexicanos in Tampico, Tamaulipas.
