La Jornada – BBVA will give automotive loans online; signs agreement with platforms

Mexico City. BBVA Mexico, together with various online sales platforms, announced the launch of a program to give automotive loans one hundred percent digitally.

The bank announced that it is an alliance with the main sales portals in Mexico, such as Mercado Libre, seminuevos.com, soloautos.com.

It is a digital financing tool that allows users of these portals to simulate and obtain an instant quote, select the monthly payment that best suits their needs and apply for credit online.

Afterwards, clients interested in acquiring a vehicle will be able to obtain a credit evaluation in seconds and receive a call from one of BBVA Mexico’s executives to conclude the sale, without having to leave the website.

“We have designed this process with a key purpose in mind: to help businesses in the automotive sector grow and prosper. Giving them the possibility of offering financing at the time of sale is the ultimate lever to achieve it,” said Víctor Rojas Fernández , director of automotive banking at BBVA Mexico.

BBVA Mexico is a leader in automotive banking financing, it has a market share of 25 percent as of October 2021. It offers integral solutions to its business partners and a team dedicated to meeting needs such as retail credit, pure leasing, BBVA Insurance, as well as the Floor Plan and incentives for the sales force, through loyalty plans.
