Mexico City. On Friday afternoon, the eighth shipment with 300 thousand doses of packaged Sputnik V vaccines against COVID-19, produced in Russia by the Gamaleya National Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Research, arrived in Mexico.
At 6:28 p.m., the flight that covered the Moscow-Paris-Mexico City route landed at Terminal 1 of the Mexico City International Airport (AICM).
With this eighth shipment of Sputnik V, there are three million 700 thousand doses received from this pharmaceutical company, out of a total of 24 million vaccines that will arrive in the country from this pharmaceutical company.
So far Mexico has received 40 million 561 thousand 345 doses of packaged vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, as well as CanSino Biologics. Likewise, in our country, the Drugmex laboratory has packaged four million 545 thousand 310 doses of CanSino Biologics, for a total of 45 million 106 thousand 655 doses.
In total, 70 shipments have been received on 84 flights.
