“An extremely brutal decline in business!” This is what emerged in particular from the second investigation related to the pandemic. Led by the Friborg Economic Observatory, it was carried out from April 8 to 15. About seventy companies took part.
The first subject discussed concerns turnover. A third of them suffered a 20 to 50% decline. According to the Freiburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIF), 62% of the companies surveyed risk ending the year in the red numbers if the crisis continues and the recovery is weak. Only 38% of the companies questioned are confident about the possibility of achieving at least a financial equilibrium. Others, not many (4%), say this crisis is good for them.
