Yves Yollant reassembled, in 2016, the organ built by the Lesquien brothers, in Douai, and first installed in 1887, in Valenciennes. He also chairs the APO (Association for the Promotion of the Organ). This recognized expert is also a passionate organizer; with the Grotte et Calvaire association, and the support of the municipality, a trumpet, oboe, organ and song concert. Three renowned artists from the Nantes region will be present.
Claude Legal : trumpeter, he worked with Robert Bouché (solo trumpet at the Paris Opera). He was first prize at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris in 1978, then perfected with several masters such as Thomas Stevens, James Stamp or Jean Greffin.
Christophe Left: he began his career with the piano and the organ, before going to the International Conservatory of Music in Paris and to the Scola Cantorum in Paris where he obtained the higher organ diploma in 2004. Music teacher, he is also holder of the organ of the collegiate church, of Guérande.
Thierry Brehu: gold medal in oboe in 1981, he entered CNR de Rueil-Malmaison in Claude Maisonneuve’s class with which he obtained three other oboe prizes. A teacher at the Saint-Nazaire music school, he began training as a singer. Since 1989, he has sung regularly with the choir of the Chapelle-Royale directed by Philippe Herreweghe.
Sunday, October 11, at 4 p.m., in the church of La Chapelle-de-Brain. The three musicians will perform works from the XVIIe century by Handel, Scarlatti, Finger and Roemhildt. Free participation.
