A wheelbarrow, a bucket and miniature cars… The Ikorodu Bois (the boys of Ikorodu), three Nigerian actor-directors aged 10 to 15, have become real little stars on social media parodying movie trailers and music videos with simple everyday accessories. Malik, 10, and Muiz, 15, have been playing comedy with their cousin Fawas for three years, and their older brother Babatunde Sanni, 23, edit the videos.
Their latest achievement, a remake of the movie trailer Tyler Rake, reached nearly 9 million Twitter views this week. With the means at hand, these young budding artists have thus recreated the main scenes in the trailer for this blockbuster directed by Sam Hargrave. “We love this movie so much and we hope Chris Hemsworth and

“Here is the next generation of filmmakers in Nigeria”
It is not the first time that these passionate young people movies are talking about them. At the beginning of April,
American actor Will Smith also shared the Nigerian movie trailer on his Instagram account Bad boys Life where he stars. The parodied version had been seen more than 7 million times, only on Will Smith’s Instagram account.
Their remake of the trailer for the Paper House had also toured social networks. A staging approved by the two main actors of the series, Alvaro Morte, “the Professor”, and Ursula Corbero alias “Tokyo”. “Here is the next generation of filmmakers in Nigeria,” wrote the actress on her Twitter account.

These young actors from Ikorodu, a city in the state of Lagos au Nigeria, regularly post their videos on
YouTube and Instagram, where they are followed by more than 500,000 people. “We now know we are being watched around the world and we want to show that we have potential,” said the young filmmakers.
