‘La Bellezza’, the event conceived and directed by Angelo Butera, this year at the Archaeological Park of Himera, will celebrate Giovanni Verga, one of the great authors of Italian literature, in the year of the centenary of his death. The event, which reaches its sixth edition in 2022, will be held as part of the cultural initiatives promoted by the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity and by the Archaeological Park of Himera, Solunto and Monte Iato, and will take place during the month of June 2022. Seven days of theatrical performances, concerts, meetings and debates entirely dedicated to the literary and dramaturgical activity of the Catania writer, fully considered the greatest exponent of the literary current of realism.
