La Bat Mat, a new resource center specializing in the reuse of materials in Nîmes

There is now a building resource center in Nîmes. The Bat Mat, resulting from cooperation between the Réanimes resource center and the Pont au Vigan resource center, was inaugurated this Thursday in the industrial zone of Saint-Césaire. This “material library” aims to promote the reuse of construction and renovation materials. A vast warehouse of 600 m2 where you can find wood, tiles and even sanitary facilities. These products, in perfect condition, come from excess stocks from major DIY brands or leftovers from construction sites. Rather than ending up in landfill, these materials can have a second life and they cost on average half as much as in stores.

A virtuous circle which also allows reduce waste and waste.
