It was also preliminarily established that the accident could have happened due to a crew error in fog conditions. In addition, an engine failure could occur, which led to a hard landing of the aircraft.
According to “Interfax“, four people survived, one is in critical condition, and 11 passengers were trapped in the cabin. There was no fire in the cabin. The news agency indicated that the plane had crashed, previously, due to a technical failure.”
“According to preliminary data, there was a technical failure on board, the crew reported this to the dispatcher, then made an emergency landing in the taiga,” the message says.
The accident occurred four kilometers from the village of Kazachinskoe. The plane followed the route Irkutsk – Kazachinskoe.
