Yesterday, Holy Wednesday, May 1st, the Governmental Council for National Security (KYSEA) met under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
On the agenda were the latest developments in the Middle East, migration flows and the strengthening of Civil Protection on the occasion of the start of the fire fighting season.
According to a statement by the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Representative Pavlos Marinakis, during the meeting the competent ministers were informed about the latest developments in the Middle East, the improvement of the image of migration flows and the New Pact on Migration and Asylum . Also presentation of preventive measures and initiatives to strengthen Civil Protection on the occasion of the start of the fire season.
