Giorgos Kyrtsos saw Kyriakos Mitsotakis as “between a farce and a tragedy” in dealing with the great fire in Attica.
As he states in his post on social media, “he was forced to return from his long vacation but avoided coming into contact with those affected or going to the site of the disaster. He kept his distance so as not to spoil the image he has built for himself.”
In fact, he points out that “as soon as he saw that Kasselakis was doing what a leader should do, instead of imitating him, he launched the mud mechanism against him.
In his post, G. Kirtsos adds:
“To justify his inaction and blasé style, Mitsotakis put forward the theory of limited damage from the fire, at a time when the international community was expressing its anxiety for the trying Attica.
But then he announced his visit to the burnt areas, next Tuesday, to show that he understands the dimensions of the problem and that he will help.
Indulgently unacceptable”.
