Ladies and gentlemen, it’s today: Kylie Swim is here! Launching at 3:00 p.m. PST, Jenner’s debut swimwear and sarong line proves that even in September, the Hot Girl Summer vibes can last. Want to hang up a costume? We’ve got all the details to get yours before they sell out (which, duh, they will).
It’s no secret that the younger KarJenner knows a thing or two about growing businesses. She turned her own obsession with covering her lips into constantly depleted lip kits, and then expanded to create one of the best-selling beauty brands in the business. Kylie Cosmetics isn’t her only successful business either – Kylie Skin is profitable too, and the two brands have helped Jenner become (controversially dubbed) the world’s youngest self-made billionaire.
Rumors have been circulating about Jenner’s future in terms of new businesses for some time. She alluded to Kylie Baby, which is either a line of children’s clothing or juvenile products. In the meantime, many are still patiently waiting for Kylie Nails, whose trademark was registered in 2020. The only trademark I didn’t see coming? Jenner turns her penchant for sexy bikinis into Kylie Swim.
The real ones know that Jenner registered the Kylie Swim brand in May 2021 (yes, she works fast!). Always so casual, Jenner chose Tuesday, August 17 to take to her Instagram and post in a yellow and pink wrap-style monokini and tag a new brand: @KylieSwim. Of course, his subscribers have gone completely nuts, with the account gaining nearly 300,000 subscribers in about four hours. Today, the account has just under a million subscribers.
From what we’ve seen so far, the first drop features plenty of neon lights and glowing cutouts, as well as matching sarongs to pair with the costumes. The drop continues kyliejenner.com (NOT kylieswim.com !!! Don’t make that mistake and miss it!) At 3:00 PM. PST and Jenner have previously unveiled a price list on Instagram.
According to her article, the collection includes four one-piece swimsuits priced between $ 80 and $ 85, a two-color triangle bikini for $ 40 per piece, as well as Mini Swim for kids at $ 60 per costume.
In the same post, Jenner also included some sizing tips. “True to size with a micro-aesthetic – if in doubt take a size up!” She suggests. The post also mentions that anyone with larger breasts may prefer a size larger than their norm. As for big asses? The jumpsuits are “high waisted, high cut styles with a short micro coverage”, so how much cheek you choose is really up to you.
Of course, Jenner isn’t the first in her family to try on swimwear. Good American by Khloé Kardashian makes swimsuits that kill, with an impressive size range up to 5XL. Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS underwear and loungewear also goes up to 5XL, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Kylie Swim is just as inclusive.
Is it a little weird to launch a bikini brand in to finish of summer ?! Yes, but as far as we know, Jenner didn’t come up with the idea until May. Like all of her business endeavors, I know Kylie Swim will be a smash hit, so catch me buying at less a suit and a matching sarong. Summer isn’t over yet, guys!
