American reality star and businesswoman Kylie Jenner spends about 3.5 hours a day – just under half a working day – in her makeup chair to get her makeup. She says so in a video in which the make-up line in honor of her 24th birthday is central.

In a recent video with her makeup artist Ariel Tejada, Kylie Jenner reveals that it takes 3.5 hours a day to look flawless. In the clip, which lasts only eleven minutes, we see part of one such session in which Ariel applies the make-up layer after layer on her face.
Although Jenner sits still while painting, she says she is often busy with her phone. “I work on my phone all day. The only way to bridge those hours is to entertain myself a little bit.” She also adds that she loves her makeup artist and that his work is “worth every second”.
Tejada, who has worked for Jenner for four years, isn’t just making up the star’s face. Her upper arms also get a layer of make-up to make them shine. It is not stated how long it takes Jenner – or one of her assistants – in the evening to remove all layers of product.
