It is no secret that the world-famous reality star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner (24) attracts massive attention through several channels. On Instagram, she is now ravaging the top.
The makeup mogul broke all records when her follower scale rounded as much as 300 million on the social media platform earlier this week. This makes her the woman in the world with the most followers, and thus knocks out Ariana Grande (28) who has topped the list as the world’s most followed woman on Instagram in recent years.

Since 2019, Grande has been the woman who has ruled on Instagram with the most followers, but now the 28-year-old must see himself beaten by Kylie Jenner.
Despite Jenner’s growing growth over the past year, however, the milestone does not make the 24-year-old the most followed in the world. The only one who beats Jenner, and who is the most followed person in the world for several years, is the football professional Cristiano Ronaldo (36) with his staggering 388 million followers.
He too has broken his own records. Around this time last year, he generated 315 million followers on Instagram, and has increased by 73 million in the last year, according to extra. At the same time, Jenner was in 4th place over the number of followers with 250 million.
Instagram’s official account still ranks first as the most followed on the platform with 460 million.
Kylie also leads her popular sister Kim Kardashian (41) who has 278 million followers.
Pause from social media
Jenner broke the record despite keeping a relatively low profile on Instagram for the past two months.
The 24-year-old, who expecting her second child with rapper Travis Scott (30), chose to take a break from social media after ten people lost their lives during one of his concerts in November. On Christmas Eve, however, Jenner appeared on Instagram again with an older photo of her mother, Kris Jenner (66).
Several of the followers on Instagram welcomed the superstar back to the platform after the break.

In retrospect, the 24-year-old has come up with several small drops on his profile. Earlier this month, she posted a picture of the growing baby belly with a caption in which she reflects on the past year for better or worse.
In his first post-concert tragedy, Scott shared a black-and-white photo of the page profile and wrote “always”. Jenner commented with two “???? ????” emojis.
At the time of the tragedy, both Scott and Jenner made statements and mourned the death of the fans. Scott and artist Drake, who performed a song at the concert, were sued for $ 750 million after the incident.
