Kylie Jenner struggled with severe depression

If you see Kylie Jenner (27) with her children today, she seems overjoyed. The young mother repeatedly stresses how much her daughter Stormi (6) and son Aire (2) mean. But the young entrepreneur has had many difficult, turbulent months behind her. The TV celebrity tells us this in a recent interview with the British Vogue. After both births, Kylie struggled with postpartum depression for over a year. “I finally feel like myself again. […] Psychologically, it was really hard. Hormonally, it was really hard,” she explains, remembering the time after Aire’s birth in detail: “I was just so emotional about things that I [normalerweise] wasn’t so emotional. I spent the whole day on the phone with my mother and crying hysterically.”

Kylie was very young when she became a mother for the first time. She gave birth to her daughter at just 20 years old. That alone presented her with a challenge. “The difficult thing is finding a balance between growing up and having children. I have to keep reminding my friends who don’t have children that I have children”the entrepreneur reflects in conversation with the magazine. Kylie had to let go of her “egoism and her freedom at a very young age,” which is why she now has much “more compassion” for herself. It was simply a gigantic life change, she concludes in the interview.

Since the birth of her youngest child, Aire, it’s not just Kylie’s mentality that has changed dramatically. Her love life also looks completely different now: The children’s father, Travis Scott (33), and The Kardashians star have definitely not been a couple since January 2023 – although they had already paused their turbulent romance several times before that. Kylie is now with Timothée Chalamet (28). Although the couple hardly ever appears together in public and keeps all details of their relationship private, they seem to be very happy together. They even recently celebrated the beauty’s 27th birthday together.
