Kylie Jenner shows us with her “Cherry Coke Lips” which lip color will define fall 2024
We know that model Kylie Jenner can do makeup. Her label Kylie Cosmetics definitely has a right to exist. Regardless, you rarely see Kylie without color on her lips. Now she has shown herself with the absolute trend color of the fall and is making “Cherry Coke Lips” the must-have of the season!
This is what Kylie Jenner’s “Cherry Coke Lips” look like and that’s what makes them so special
Kylie Jenner is probably most often seen with her nude lips, but she can definitely wear color too. Her “Cherry Coke Lips” are already encouraging us to try more color this fall, and especially more red. This lip combo looks beautiful and elegant with a slight touch of drama, both with brown and blonde hair.
With the “Cherry Coke Lips” it’s all about the color gradient. A strong lip border in a dark red, reddish brown or even brown provides contrast and is probably the most important element of the lip combination. The lip then becomes lighter towards the inside, so that only a hint of color is visible at the innermost point. A matching lipstick in a dark cherry red is the right choice here to create a soft transition from the edge to the center. Kylie Jenner sets the highlight with a lip gloss and makes her lips the focus of her face.

How to recreate the “Cherry Coke Lips” à la Kylie Jenner
In order to recreate Kylie Jenner’s “Cherry Coke Lips”, sufficiently cared for lips are an absolute prerequisite, as the strong color does not come into its own on dry lips and, above all, does not last long and may start to crumble.
Use a dark lip liner in a reddish brown tone and outline your lip contour. Don’t be shy. If it goes a little over the edge, that’s intentional and gives your lips more volume. Then fill two thirds of your lips with red lipstick. This can be lighter than the lip liner.
To avoid a harsh transition, it’s best to use a lip brush to blend the lip liner and lipstick a little and let them melt together. Leave the inside of your lips free. If you rub your lips together, some color will end up there anyway.
