The House Oversight and Reform Committee sent a letter Wednesday to Live Nation Entertainment Inc. Chairman and CEO Michael Rapino requesting information about the company’s role in the music festival, specifically Scott’s performance that resulted in the death of 10 people.

The information requested by the committee included details on security, crowd control and mass casualty incident planning; details on pre-show briefings from Live Nation or its subsidiaries on any security issues raised prior to the concert; and what steps the concert promoter will take to prevent injury or death at future events.

Meanwhile, Scott has been working with government and public safety officials to set guidelines to ensure another tragedy like the Astroworld Music Festival never happens again.
